AFIGYA KWABRE NORTH DCE COMMISSIONS MATERNITY BLOCK FOR AHENKRO HEALTH CENTER.
The Afigya Kwabre North DCE Hon. Akwasi Karkari Acheamfour has today, Thursday 16th September 2021 commissioned a maternity block for Ahenkro Health center to help reduce maternal mortality in the district. Hon. DCE came with his coordinating director Hon. Francis Asokwa Sarpong and the district Police commander ASP Edward Agyei Odame.

Hon. Akwasi Karkari Acheamfour said the reason for commissioning such facility is that a lot of pregnant women in the district go to Offinso for delivery after their nine months journey so if it will take him to beg he will do so to support the health facilities in his constituency.

The Gyaasehene of Ahenkro who doubles as the Police commander for Adanse North and south district Nana Okofo Takyi Aprebi on behalf of the chief of Ahenkro thanked the Hon. DCE and his team for such a great work and asked for more as Oliver Twist does always.
Madam Evonne Abena Sarpong who is a district public health Nurse and also works at Ahenkro health center on behalf of the District health directorate showed appreciation to Hon. DCE and Nananom for their kind gestures towards their facility and promised they are going to practice good maintenance culture to keep the facility in good shape always.
