God is a merciful God, and He wants us to always be under His shield so that He will protect us from the work of the devil. We create hostility between Him and us when we sin because He hates sin, and that creates an aperture between us. As a child of God, how do you live every day for the Glory of God? Let’s take a quick glance on how a child of God will live every day for the Glory of God.

1. Rest in the security of God after believing in Him

“But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.” John 20:31

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.” John 5:24

2. Be in the shadow of the Lord Jesus according to the word of God

“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.” John 10:27

“If ye love me, keep my commandment.” John 14:15

3. Make yourself available to be baptized in obedience to your Lord

“Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.” Acts 2:41

“And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much more, as ye see the day approaching.” Hebrews 10:24, 25

4. Peruse the scripture on a daily basis

“As a newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby.” 1 Peter 2:2

5. Pray daily and throughout the daily

“Pray without ceasing.” 1 Thessalonians 5:17

“Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6, 7

“I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplication, prayers, intercession, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;” 1 Timothy 2:1

6. Dole out the Gospel with others

“And he (the Lord Jesus) said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” Mark 16:15

“Neither is there salvation in any order: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”
