ASIEDU NKETIA IS DESTROYING OUR CASE—NDC LAWYERS
Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Kwame Baffoe a.k.a Abronye has said counsels for former President John Mahama in the ongoing 2020 election petition case are not happy about how their own witness Mr. Asiedu Nketia is making contradictory statement to downgrade the content of the case they have presented before the Supreme Court.

In an interview on Wontumi TV’s Nsempa Fie show monitored by Trendingghana.net, the chairman stated that lawyer Tsatsu Tsikata and Tony Lithur were not happy with the way Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia performed in the witness box when he was being cross examined by lawyers for first and second respondents.

“After using the calculator and telling the court that he was not there to call for the nullification of the votes obtained by President Akufo-Addo, the lead counsel for the NDC was not happy and informed Lithur that Asiedu Nketia has brought his ‘things’ to court“, Abronye said.

However Communication officer of the National Democratic Congress, Sammy Gyamfi in an interview with the media a while after the court sitting debunked such claims by the NPP chairman.
“… we are not in court to challenge the eligibility of the election and the court has not undermined our cases, so we are happy and like the way Asiedu Nketia presented himself in the witness box”.
