Freebies cash could buy furniture for pupils

According Nicholas Frimpong, the monies for the free water and electricity could have been used “to purchase furniture for most schools.” Adding that some “pupils sit in threes on the dual desks.”

Mr. Frimpong’s comments come just after the Ghanaian president Nana Akufo-Addo on Sunday announced the reopening of kindergarten to junior high schools effective January 15, exactly ten months since their closure due to the corona virus pandemic.
