Ghana Has Powerful Artistes Than South Africa But Lack of Love Has Crippled Our Progress – South African Based Ghanaian Gospel Artist, Rev S.A Osiahene

A Ghanaian Reverend Minister who doubles as a gospel artistes in south Africa has thrown a challenge to Ghanaian artists especially those in the gospel industry to uphold love and unity and continue to render helping hand to their colleagues especially the up and coming ones since lack of these are the major cause Ghanaian music are not going far.

”You see, comparing Ghanaian gospel music to that of South Africans, I can boldly say that Ghana has a lot of powerful and good artistes but lack of love is preventing us from going far unlike the South Africans.” He revealed.

Rev S.A Osiahene made this assertion on the Offinso based LiFE FM‘s Flagship Gospel show NHYIRA BOSUO this Sunday in an exclusive interview with the award Winning Gospel Presenter Dj Smart (Eld).

He showed how sad it is to see those in the limelight blocking the ways of the up and coming with huge amount of monies all in the name of collaborations.

”Here in South Africa, when an artiste hears your song and wants to feature you, they get in touch with you and that’s all, though you need to show some sort of appreciation but they don’t charge thst huge as Ghanaians do. You will be surprised that South African Famous Rebecca once even called to collaborate with an artiste when she heard his song but how many times does it happen in Ghana?” He sadly questioned.

”What Gospel artistes should know is that if you don’t want someone to also succeed, the holy spirit will also leave you and God will not let you succeed. If you like pick the old songs of some artistes I don’t want to mention their names and check their recent songs, there is no holy spirit backing anymore. That should tell you that gradually they are coming down.” He fumed.

He later advised the up and coming not to give up and also let God be their leader and it shall be well with them. He took the opportunity to appreciate all the DJs and presenters who have been helping in the music promotion.
