I Changed From Gospel Music To Secular Because of The Selfishness of Gospel Artistes in Ghana – Popular dancehall artiste reveals.

A former gospel artiste, Abena Janet Pokua popularly known as Show Lady who doubles as a songwriter has shocked the Ghana music industry with her new move.

Show lady is best known to be a gospel artist who used to sing with some popular musicians like Great Ampong, Joyce blessing, Esther Piesie and others.

The gospel artist has revealed that for the past seven years, she decided to halt on gospel songs and turned in to being a dance hall artist.

This revelation popped up in an exclusive interview with a Kumasi based Nhyira FM monitored by trendingghana.net.

According to her, some Ghanaian gospel artistes she worked with caused her change of mind to switch from gospel to dance hall.

“All Ghanaian gospel artistes only think about themselves and how they excell without bothering their counterparts” said show lady.

A move she described as worrying in the sight of Great Ampong.

She said “I heard he even cried when he heard that I have changed from gospel to dance hall but he didn’t call me”.

Show Lady revealed all these to Dj Ogidi Brown on the NHYIRA ENTERTAINMENT POWER.

She continue to say, “the first person to post my work was Stone boy, I have even sent him my script to sing his part for me but for three months now I don’t hear from him, he doesnt also answer my calls.” She sadly complained.

Show lady asks the public to support her as she promised to be the first female artiste to bring Granny to Ghana.
