A fast rising Ghanaian gospel artist living in America, Mr Music Mensah, has stated categorically that he cannot condemn secular music despite the fact that he left the secular to gospel.
He revealed this to Dj Smart (Eld) of LIFE FM inside Offinso on the Popular NHYIRA BOSUO show this Sunday.
”I cannot condemn secular music because they are also from the Bible. You know, the Bible is not only about worship, life educations and a whole lot of advices are picked from it including love so if someone sings secular song, there is nothing wrong with it though some of them are extremely too profane and bad.” He chipped in.
He mentioned the names of Nana Kwame Ampadu, Daddy Lumba, Kwadwo Antwi and the likes who compose most of their songs from the Bible with inspirational lines.
According to Mr Music Mensah, he was once a secular artist but a voice spoke to him on several occasions to switch to gospel.
”Yes even before I moved to America there was a voice which continuously spoke to me to change to gospel because that was why He called me. I didn’t take it that seriously initially but later I had no option than to do it which even made me loose my producer with the reason that he wasn’t in for gospel songs.” He revealed.
Mr Music Mensah has released a couple of singles which include, Krokroko, Great God, the latest one called BLESSING and others.
He later advised up and coming ones to be more patience and wait on the Lord for his appointed time since He works with time.
