N/R: KPANDAI MP GIVES GH¢35k SUPPORT TO NEEDY STUDENTS
Member of Parliament for Kpandai constituency, of the Northern Region, Honourable Daniel Nsala Wakpal has assisted 175 needy but brilliant tertiary students in his constituency.
The beneficiary students were chosen from across the constituency.
A total of Thirty Five Thousand Ghana cedis (GH¢35000.00) was disbursed to the students from the MP’s common fund.
In an interview with the press, the Kpandai legislator indicated that his priority as an MP is to empower the youth through education alerting that education is the key to human empowerment, and also development in the Kpandai constituency, hence the decision to support the needy students.
“We all know how important education is, it is Paramount to the growth of our communities and the district, it has become necessary for me as a legislator in this constituency to support these students”.
He reiterated his commitment to providing student boxes (chalk box) to SHS students to complement the Free Senior High School Program implemented by this government.
The students could not hide their excitement for the MPs support given them.
They praised his works for the short period as an MP for the constituency.
