NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF GHANA COCOA MARKETING CLERKS CALLS NPP GOVERMENT FOR SUPPORT
The Chairman for National Association of Ghana Cocoa Marketing Clerks, Mr. Solomon Andam is appealing to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) led by H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo to celebrate Cocoa Farmers and Cocoa Marketing Clerk’s ,as it normal done to farmers.
According to him, its painful to see your co farmer who is into crops like: yam, cassava, plantain fish farming etc. been awarded as best farmer in district, region and national, but its hardly to hear that cocoa clerk normally call PC been award by the Government and District. Since the Late Tetteh Quarashie brought cocoa seed from Fernadopoo to Ghana, Cocoa has become the back bone and sources of money to develop the Nation but hardly seen PC been awarded comparing to crop production to that of cocoa farming. He said.
Speaking to the Edubiaseman fm Journalist ,Kwaku Assubonteng, he said, on Nov 6,2020, Ghana will be celebrating farmers day to award them, therefore we are also calling on the NPP government to come to our aid and support Cocoa farmers, Cocoa Marketing Clerks and others . *COCOA MARKETING CLERKS DAY* to support their effort.
