ADUKRO CAR CRASH KILLS 4

Twenty-year old driver of Adukro-bound Chevrolet Matiz taxi cab with registration number AS 1873-20, Kwabena Amoako, and his three passengers, Parkson Annor, 30, Evans Appiah, 28 and Theresa Serwaa, 20 are reported dead after their car collided with Kumasi-bound KIA Grandbird bus with registration number GS 5379-19 at Adukro in Offinso municipality in Ashanti region of Ghana.

The remains of the four have been deposited at the mortuary of St. Patrick’s Catholic Hospital at Maase-Offinso where they were admitted and confirmed dead.

The fatal accident occurred the night of Wednesday, December 09 as jubilations hit the crescendo after the Electoral Commission declared President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as winner of the Monday, December 07 elections.

“I saw cars crisscrossing the road at Asamankama that night. I even called a taxi driver to pick me to chase a careless taxi driver to call him to order but we couldn’t catch up with him as he bolted through Saaboa,” a police officer told Offinso Watch/Health Campaign 🇬🇭Ghana editor Osei Kuffour.

Driver of the bus, Yussif Mohammed, is assisting the police in investigations.
