OFFINSO HOLDS THE 20TH GRADUATION OF THE PHYSICALLY CHALLENGE ACTION FOUNDATION(PCAF)
The Physically challenged Action Foundation(PCAF) Offinso Maase in the Offinso South Municipality of the Ashanti region of Ghana held their 20th graduation under the theme ”HONOURING YOUR PRESENCE TO GRACE THIS JOYFUL OCCASION” at the school premises yesterday 27th March, 2022.
The program was graced by Offinsoman Hemaa Nana Ama Serwaa Nyarko,Acting president of Offinso Traditional Council, the municipal director of Education, NADMO director, Dr K. K Sarpong etc.
The graduants were seven (7) in numbers, two (2) ladies five (5) gentlemen. Some graduated as fashion designers others as shoe makers etc. Each graduant received an amount of one thousand Ghana cedis in addition with machines they will use to continue their work as they leave the institution.
Barima Antwi Sylvester who is the CEO of the (PCAF) explained the purpose of this noble institution and was also grateful to God that, through him a lot of people with disabilities are no longer surviving of going round the street to beg. He is also calling on government and individuals to come to their aid because the school needs a lot of support to help people with disabilities.
Miss Regina Kwaah who was the girls’ prefect and was also among the 7 graduants also praised Barimah Antwi for his kind gestures towards them and shared her experience with us.
Mr Osei Stephen who has spent 4 years at the physically challenged Action Foundation (PCAF) on behalf of the graduants showed enough appreciation to Barima Antwi and all those who have been of support for years.
One of the parents whose child was among the graduants also added her voice of appreciation.
