PRESIDENT NANA ADDO APPOINTS A PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED MAN, JOSEPH MAKUBU AS REGIONAL MINISTER.
It is barely fourteen days today when President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffor Addo was inaugurated for his second term in office to stir the affairs of Ghana following his victory on the December 7, 2020 General elections.
So far Nana Addo has released the list of persons nominated and designated ; who are to represent the sixteen regions in the country as ministers and regional ministers.
Oti region happen to be one of the six newly created regions which was curbed from the Volta region.
Surprisingly, the first gentleman of the country has appointed a physical challenged man, Mr. Joseph Makubu to occupy the seat of the Oti regional minister.
According to reports and what we have gathered, Mr. Joseph Makubu has been an ardent member of the New patriotic party for so many years.
He has moved from the bottom position as an ordinary party supporter to taking up major roles of the party at the district and regional level.
This is the time for him to be promoted and president Nana Addo has just done that.
Mr. Joseph Makubu is currently the NPP secretary of the Oti region. It has also been reported that he is a teacher by profession.
