Race Course traders donate to needy children, others.
Led by Nana Kwame, traders at Kumasi Race Course have presented consumables, clothing, toiletries and other items to some needy children at Sobolo.
“My joy is to see smiles on the faces of these promising but underprivileged children. During the Covid-19 lockdown they made donations which benefited the children here, widows and others outside. But for their help and those from others far and near these children wouldn’t be so high in spirit,” lead carer for the children, Mary Mensah, told Health Campaign 🇬🇭Ghana’s editor Osei Kuffour shortly after the gesture Thursday December 31.
The health campaigner, therefore, has urged the government to, through its regulatory agencies and departments, prioritise the voluntary works of selfless persons like Mary Mensah and her supporters saving the lives of many future leaders of our country. The needed regulatory services should be promptly given to carers so that they do not get frustrated to indirectly dash the hopes of the underprivileged in society to burden the nation.
