SAD NEWS: Primary School Pupils in the Western Region learning in a “Pool of Water” [PHOTOS]

The pupils of Botwekrom Primary School in the Wassa Amenfi East District of the Western Region allegedly studying in a dilapidated classrooms.

In viral photos Intercepted by our outfit saw pupils studying in dilapidated classrooms in water.

Information gathered indicates that, during the raining season, the classrooms turn to “swimming pool” for toads/frogs and other living organisms.

Sources disclosed that, all attempts  for the government to help build a befitting class block for the Botwekrom community failed.

The situation we were told has forced the residents to bring to social media the nature of the dilapidated classrooms calling for support.

The nature of Botwekrom Public Primary School in Wassa Amenfi East is causing everyone talking on social media.

According to some of them, they don’t understand what is going wrong with Ghana’s educational system. “How is the national cake being distributed? Do we have priority schools? “These and many questions are being asked by some Ghanaians in respect to our educational system.

The residents of the community are therefore appealing to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo through the Ministry of Education and the Ghana Education Service to build a new 6-unit classroom block with its auxiliary offices for the community to enhance teaching and learning.
