SAD VIDEO: Npp National women’s organizer broke in tears over her burnt excavators
NPP National Women’s Organizer Kate Gyamfuah has broke down in tears 😭 when Regional and Constituency Women Organizers of the party went to console her after her ten excavators were bent.
The Women’s Organizer says she will use every legal means to seek justice over the destruction of the over 10 excavators and other mining equipments.
Her statement follows news that her mining equipments were destroyed by officials of Ghana Armed Forces in relation to the fight against galamsey in the country.
According to her spokesperson, Ernest Yaw Kumi, the action by the officials deployed to clamp down on illegal mining activities is in breach of laws governing the mining sector and also in contravention of directives issued by the Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Samuel Abu Jinapor.
“Madam Kate Gyamfuah will use all legal means to defend her right and her company as a citizen,” said Yaw Kumi in an interview on Adom FM’s current affairs program Burning Issues hosted by Akua Boakyewaa Yiadom.
Many Ghanaians at the aftermath of the incident concluded on the fact that the Nana Addo led government had its hand in the galamsey menace.
The military are however praised by some Ghanaians for the burning of the said mining arcutruments belonging to the Npp party fellow and therefore cautioned them to execute their task assigned them without fear, ill will, partiality or malice.
