SHOCKING: Achimota School Fights GES, Rejects Directive To Admit Rastafarians
Achimota School and the Ghana Education Service have come to standoff following Achimota’s refusal to admit two rastafarians who gained admission to the school last week.
The Thursday incident garnered social media traction, bringing the school underfire for holding onto colonial values.
The backlash has forced the Ghana Education Service to direct the school to admit the students as reported by zionfelix.net.
In latest developments today, the school has rejected the stance of the education service following a crunch meeting involving the school, parents of the children and GES.
The old students of the school have also rejected the order from GES asking the school to admit the boys.
Meanwhile, one of the parents of the affected students, Radwad Nkrabea has sworn to seek legal redress.
