SHOCKING: Mind-blowing Secrets About Ghanaian Highlife Musician Kumi Guitar’s Music Career revealed.
The highlife musician has revealed that he was in the scene for a long time before he met his management/label.
According to him, prior to his shooting up to fame, he worked with big Stars like Castro, Rony Coaches, Black Messiah, Sugar Tone, Koko Velly, Appiatus among others.
He revealed that though most of his works (songs) saw no success in the early days, he never lost hope. He went on moving from studios to studios to record his songs even though he was still “underground’.
“I had worked with the lives of Koko Velly, Castro, Appiatus, Rony Coaches, Black Messiah,Sugar Tone among others. Well we were underground so you know I had done lots of works though we saw no success in most of them I never gave up. Kept moving from studios to studios to record songs and work on them”.
Kumi Guitar also disclosed that it was at Sugar Tone’s studio that he recorded and released “One Littre” after which Okraku-Mante heard and later came up with the Remix “Break into Two” with Guru.
“So it was actually at Sugar Tone’s studio that I released “One Littre” and then Okraku-Mante heard of it and later we made a Remix “Break into Two” with Guru.
The highlife artiste gave this revelation in an exclusive interview with Dr Eye on the SHOWBIZ BOUTIQUE line on Omega fm inside Accra.
