Stop Speaking Grammar and Propaganda….Hon Oppong Nkrumah to the Petitioner’s Legal Team
Hon Kwadwo Oppong Nkrumah, who speaks for the defendant counsel has advised the legal team of the petitioner to desist from speaking propaganda and grammar. The honourable Minister said that the court is not a place for speaking grammar and propaganda but law.
He said “what the people are saying is not law. It is grammar and propaganda because there are legal standards that must be met”
In as much as the lead counsel for the petitioner desires to have the EC boss in the witness box, the supreme court of the land rules that it is not constitutional to force Mrs. Jane Mensah into the witness box.
The court said that they do not know of any law that supports what the petitioner is asking for.
Mr Oppong Nkrumah maintains that it will be propaganda for the legal team of the former president to go out and poison the people’s mind that the court didn’t allow them to compel the EC chairperson to mount the witness box because it(the court) has something to hide.
