THE CHURCH OF PENTECOST, FUMSO DISTRICT DONATES A POWERFUL GENERATOR TO FUMSO HEALTH CENTER
The church of Pentecost, Fumso District has donated a powerful generator worths 3,500 Ghana cedis to the Fumso Health Center on Monday May 17, 2021.
The Obuasi Area Head Apostle William Boakye Agyarko who presented the generator to the health center on behalf of the Fumso District Pastor Joseph Kwadjo Amesinu made it clear to the people gathered that the church has a five year vision plan which includes provision of social services to the community and the country as a whole so this is why it has called for the Fumso District to do that.
After the speech,he prayed over the generator and handed over the key to the Physician Assistant.The in-charge thanked the church for the donation and asked God’s blessings on them to do more.
She said the health center lacks a lot and one of them is that when the light goes off, they find it difficult to operate, she continued that when it happens like that, they use their phone torch as light to help.
She said the generator has come at the right time to help as the country is facing power outages recently. She pleaded to the Church and any individual who has the will to help with other things they needed at the center.
The Assembly Man for Fumso Electoral Area, Mr Isaac Afful also used the opportunity to express his profound gratitude to the church for their unflinching support. In his statement, he said the facility lacks some things of which he has asked for support from philanthropists and other church bodies but all has proven futile.
He commended the Church for their quick response in getting the generator for the facility. He quoted “Oliver twist asks for me” so this shouldn’t be the end, he again pleaded to the church to help them with a bio-digester toilet.
The District Pastor Joseph Kwadjo Amesinu assured them that with the help of the Lord, the church will do its best to help raise the Fumso Health Center to a standard one.
