The Nation Should Remember Teachers In Prayers & Motivate Them – DJ Smart (Eld)
The multiple award winner with the Offinso based LIFE FM who doubles as a professional graduate teacher in the Offinso Municipal has urged all citizens including the leadership of the country to pray for teachers to prevent any of them from contracting the deadly disease which is taking the lives of many people worldwide.
The Supreme Gospel Selector, as he is affectionately called, who is A Gospel Presenter and the Programs Manager for the mentioned radio station made this appeal on his regular daily evening show dubbed, INSPIRATIONAL AFTER DRIVE on Monday.
”It seems everybody is praying for the kids leaving behind the teachers who also matter in the nation’s development. There are a lot of caring teachers who go extra mile and get closer to their pupils and attend to their needs especially those at the basic level and if we don’t pray for them it will be easier for them to contract the deadly disease in case a child is infected despite the fact that all COVID protocols are observed. Teachers need prayers. Let us all pray for them actively.” The Award winner appealed to the public.
He went ahead to congratulate teachers for their good work since schools reopened and encouraged parents to keep providing nose masks for their children.
”You shouldn’t leave it all to the teachers and government but try and provide nose masks and sanitizers for your kids and educate them to use them too.” He advised parents.
He later hinted on teachers’ motivation now that they are actively engaged amidst the COVID 19 pandemic.
”It will surprise you that there are some teachers who even use their own monies to buy these materials and foods for the pupils and so I want to humbly appeal to The President, Nana Addo, to motivate Ghanaian teachers in any positive way he can in order for them to work tirelessly for the nation. I know he can so he should consider that.” He appealed.
