The Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMet) has warned residents within Greater Accra, Central and Western Regions to prepare for another torrent of rain tonight.
The Agency mentioned Cape Coast, Accra, Akyem Oda, Ho, Takoradi, among others when highlighting the towns with thunderstorms accompanying the rain.
With this, it is advised that residents within such perimeters take safety measures.
Touching on the weather for the afternoon, GMet said there will be periods of sunshine.
For the time being, it has been a wet morning in parts of Accra.
According to the Agency, the morning rains will affect Aflao, Bolgatanga, Nalerigu and Wa.
Earlier, Accra has recorded two flooding incidents in four days.
Following hours of rain, parts of Accra and other urban centres in the Greater Accra Region, including North Kaneshie, Kwame Nkrumah Circle, Adabraka, and Kasoa in the Central Region, were flooded.
The occurrence obstructed traffic movement on some major roads in the capital.
Ghanaians took to Twitter to share videos of flooded areas after Saturday and Monday’s rain.
Some homes were flooded as a result.
