UNITED NATIONS WATCH (UN WATCH) ACUSSES UGANDAN PRESIDENT ELECT IN THEIR CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE.
The Ugandan president elect Mr Yoweri Museveni is one of current longest serving presidents in Africa after he was re-elected into office for the 6ths term.
A report circulating on various social media platforms indicates that, Mr. Museveni won the elections conducted by the Ugandan electoral commission body about 5.85 million votes whereas his closed contestant Bobi Wine poll about 3.48 millions votes.
There has been accusations however;
A human rights organization, United Nations Watch took to its Twitter page and condemned the Ugandan president Mr Museveni, of silencing his opponents for re-election into office.
The group tackled the 76 year old man for shutting down the country’s internet ahead of the elections.
“ Congratulations to Uganda president Yoweri Museveni on wining re-election after murdering, imprisoning, and silencing opponents, shutting down the country’s internet and committing widespread of voter fraud” the post read.
Reports also show that the main opponent to Mr Museveni, Bobi Wine’s life is in danger as military has taken over his house.
