“We have beneficiaries in Offinso”
-Perfect Peace Foundation founder
With the objectives to, in the fear of God, establish day care centres for needy children to offer them education, empower the needy youth through technical and vocational training, provide home care and non-formal training for the aged and identify and rehabilitate street children by providing them with care and support, Perfect Peace Foundation (PPF), within the Kumasi metropolis in the Ashanti region of Ghana, is doing all its best possible to see these objectives come through.
“We have beneficiaries in Offinso as in other parts. We have put some into schools at various levels through our little support and donations from philanthropists and other well-meaning people from far and near. We have done a project there before and the reception was warm,” veteran social worker and founder of PPF, Mary Mensah, in an interview with Offinso Watch editor Osei Kuffour.
There are several challenges care and support centres contributing to Ghana’s social welfare are confronted with but with the needed cooperation from the centres and the regulatory agencies, Ghana can far with the socio-economic relief or empowerment for many underprivileged.
